Our Neurosurgeon
Dr. B. A. Kgaodi is a neurosurgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in Spine surgery and a special interest in endoscopic pituitary surgery.
Dr B. A. Kgaodi obtained his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Botswana with first class honours. He later on completed his postgraduate specialist training in Neurosurgery at the University of Cape Town, earning a Master of Medicine in Neurosurgery with distinction and a Fellowship of the College of Neurosurgeons of South Africa (FC Neurosurg (SA).
He further trained in endoscopic pituitary surgery under the tutelage and guidance of Prof. Patrick Semple and Dr Byron De John at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town South Africa. This was prior to completing the prestigious formal AO Spine fellowship in Cape Town under the mentorship of renowned Spinal Surgeons Prof. Robert Dunn and Nicholas Kruger at Groote Schuur Hospital.
He is a member of the Botswana surgical society as well as the Society of Neurosurgeons of South Africa (SNAA), AO Spine and the South African Spine Society (SASS).
